Chili lessons
While in the States…I asked specifically for prayer in building relationships with Christian students. On Sunday, I got into a great conversation with a couple of girls from church…and it turns out they like to cook! They came over this week to learn how to make chili. We had a great time, and they are interested in going to conferences. They are also interested in building relationships with my nonchristian students! They both moved to the city a year ago to study. One of them shared with me, how her parents are very against her attending church…but now that she is no longer living with them, she has the freedom to go. She is praying that the next time her mom comes to visit, her mom would be willing to come to church with her.
Also, I found out that one of my students that I have been working closely with is now living in the dorms. It gives me another connection to dorm life!
Oh…during the summer I grew some red hot chili peppers on my balcony…I added them to chili…but they were a bit too hot for the girls!

Glad your using the blog, it’s looking good!
It was RIOTT salsa…I think we could have made big money in that business
