About Me

My name is Tammy Harrell.

I came to Tyumen, Russia in June, 2003 to work for 6 weeks at a children’s camp.  However, I fell in love with Russia and decided to stay indefinitely!

I graduated from San Diego State Univeristy with a degree in Art History and went on to earn a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego Christian College.

I know teach at the Linguistics Center of Tyumen State University.  In my freetime, I hang out with college students and young adults and volunteer at my local church.  In the summers, I work at children’s camps.
